I haven't seen it in stores in Louisiana but I am wondering if I can find some at our local fruit stand or something. I'll have to see soon.
Thanks for posting and you have a great blog! :)
______
Lee Ann H
Posted with Blackberry Z10!
Crochet...Gotta Love It! Well, this recipe looks awesome, and I am going to make it this weekend for him. We're on a diet so can't have too much, but with my family, I'm sure it won't last long anyway. Looks and sounds really delicious!
Pattyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04808645031109207630noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4149560156205207645.post-4551523663439538272013-05-13T16:28:31.162-05:002013-05-13T16:28:31.162-05:00I've probably asked you this before, but are y...I've probably asked you this before, but are you from Missouri? Or just visiting? It is one of my all-time fave places. My mother was raised in Hartville, and I have wonderful memories of visiting there and eating Granny's delicious gooseberry pie. I mention gooseberries because rhubarb reminds me a little of them, tart-wise. Anyway I saw this last night and had to go to the store today buy strawberries to make it. Forgot the rhubarb. :( So I'm making a buttermilk cake for the strawberries. But I still want to make your cobbler. I love the instructions: "use a toothpick to swirl" lol!Lindahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04153228502785993376noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4149560156205207645.post-33777084020023362072013-05-13T12:54:09.595-05:002013-05-13T12:54:09.595-05:00I went and visited that post (I have been out of t...I went and visited that post (I have been out of town), and I think you need to go back and get that French flower bucket. I just really don't get out that much! :-( When my Mom served in the MO. legislature, she visited Magpie's when in St. Charles and really liked it. Coincidentally, my Mom LOVES strawberry-rhubarb pie (she just talked about making one the other day), so it's too bad she didn't make it to Miss Aimee B's. I'm sure she would have been in hog heaven. I'm going to send her the link to this post so she can give this recipe a try when she snags some rhubarb.

I hope you had a peaceful weekend.
