Autumn decor slowly creeps into position during
the latter part of August and early part of September. It’s not that I am not
totally ready to relinquish the summer, I am ready to do that in spades, it’s
just that I’m not quite ready to surround myself with the warm colors of fall.
Not yet.
Fall colors are noisy. Vibrant, hot, like a fire in full blaze.
I love to wrap myself in them when the weather is cooler, but with the heat
hanging on, I’m drifting into it rather slowly.
Fortunately, because I love autumn so, I have a BIG collection of dishes. I
think I have more tableware for autumn than for any other season or holiday.
Just not yet.

I absolutely LOVE this...the colors are perfect for early fall... I'm going to look hi and lo for a clear glass pumpkin...it is so elegant and classy.

I just acquired thru my mom a beautiful Fall china for 8 places that I used for my family that came from abroad... Spain and Guayaquil a city 3 hours away, therefore, it felt like my old Tksgiving, lol..

ReplyDeleteThose glass leaf plates are just beautiful! I absolutely love fall but am just not quite ready to embrace it myself this year... not quite yet. It is still pretty darn hot here and so I am enjoying some final summer days.
