While I still have an interest in travel, without him, my heart
just isn’t in it. So, I decided that the next best thing would be to enjoy the feel
of the shore by way of this seaside table for two.
The salad plates on top are part of a set of four, each with a different denizen of the sea. They are made in Italy and were purchased years ago from World Market.
The teal napkins and turquoise stemware are from Pier One. The adorable
starfish tea-light holders are either from Pier One or Crate & Barrel, I
can’t remember which. I have had them a long time and love them.
The bamboo flatware is always great fun and elicits lots of
comments. You can find it here.
I hope you enjoyed seeing my humble attempt at Seaside dining. Come back next week when high swap a few things around and make this table look entirely different. You can do the same. Sometimes it’s just that easy. See you then!

Lovely table setting . Being a Jersey girl, we spent many a summer day and night at the Jersey shore especially Atlantic City when it was in its heyday!
ReplyDeleteSo cute Pattie! I love your plates, and you know I love anything coastal! Your pitcher is awesome too and I love the netting on the table~

Beautiful table for two Pattie - anyone would love to join you! The salad plates are darling and the pitcher and your hurricane are just stunning! Kim from thecatswhiskerz.com (if this shows up as anonymous).
ReplyDeleteWhat a cool table - the fishnet is genius. I'm a big fan of your stemware! I sound like a broken record, but this might be my favorite table - lol!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYour place settings are amazing. I love these plates. One day last year I stopped in at a Pier 1 (it has closed down now) and although I didn't buy anything I sure took a lot of photos! I love that place. Also World Market is another favorite.
ReplyDeleteThat World Market...they have some of the coolest dishes! I don't exactly remember these (but then again, I can't remember what I had for breakfast this morning!), but they are spectacular! I LOVE them!!! I really like it when dishes have different renderings on them. Makes the table look more interesting, and everyone can claim their favorite.
ReplyDeleteI've never been to the Jersey Shore or anywhere even close, but you sure make it look like an inviting prospect!
