plate by Fiestaware in the “Meadow” color, topped by a Pfaltzgraff Naturewood salad plate that peeks out from behind faux greenery just

Tucked in amongst the plates is a small black iron lizard that I got from
Pottery Barn. It has a small glass insert so it can be used as a salt cellar,
but I love it just the way it is. .PNG)

Such a unique and fun theme! This reminded me of our last trip to Bermuda, after dinner the little lizard that was spying on us hopped onto my dinner plate to nibble on the leftover crumbs! Your table is bursting with color and I would enjoy a seat here!
ReplyDeletePattie your table reminds me of my home here in Florida, We have little lizards, geckos, iguanas and yes, even Nile Monitor lizards. We even have pythons...yucky. Most are not native but have been brought in and released and they love this climate. I don't mind the little geckos as they go after insects. I have the very same stoneware pitcher vase you have on your table and I love it and use it in vignettes frequently....and aren't those small table lamps just perfect for any occasion? I have them in gold but I love yours in black and may have to order them too. Your table is unique and so interesting. The colors are gorgeous. And yes, I even like your little black lizard though I would move him before dinner.🥰 Have a wonderful Summer.

ReplyDeletePatti,e this is certainly a fun setting for summer. I like all the details from the fabulous fabric to everything on table. My garden space is full of geckos, and I am fascinated with them. They are not the least frightened of me, and stop and listen when I talk to them. They are so bright and are a fun to observe as they crawl across the plants, the terrace railings, and even my alfresco dining tables. Happy Summer, Pattie.

The plate stack is wonderful with the sunny yellow plate and the F&F appetizer plate. Faux grass filling the stoneware pitcher and the sleek cordless lamps provide a lovely centerpiece. ReplyDeletePattie, this is a richly gorgeous combination of elements and color! Having just returned from a vacation in the tropics, the iguanas were scurrying about continuously, and many of the colors matched exactly with the sea and the flora. That plate stack is gorgeous. The chargers almost look like jadeite, and I have admired that F&F Toulouse pattern for some time. But that fabric with your table light accents really pull it all together so well. I am adoring those individual butter dishes! Butter pats are having their day in the vintage and antique world, and command good prices. I have a collection I can't seem to let go of, I think they're just so darling in their petite size and patterns, but yours with the domes are all that and more!

Pattie! What a creative theme that you have carried out so wonderfully!!! My son who breeds & raises reptiles (Mostly geckos) would love this table!! I love the fabulous jungle kind of feel of the vibrant colors and the lush greenery. Very Cool!! I can see where you got the inspiration from that gorgeous, fun fabric for the table cloth!! ReplyDeleteThe colors in your tablescape are gorgeous, Patti, and definitely bring to mind a former trip to Bermuda. Loved all the blues and greens in such vibrant tones. Inspiration does come from many sources and your tablescape is proof. The gorgeous tablecloth is the perfect choice on which to build. ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! I love it! So summery and fun. I love the Spoonflower fabric couldn't be anymore perfect! You brought the iguana spirit without the iguana! Your place settings are lovely with the bright yellow, green and soft turquoise Pfaltzgraff plates. It could just be the photos, but it almost seems like the flower on the plate is textured. And your centrepiece is right up my lane! Simple grasses in a gorgeous stoneware pitcher. Love it!

The Spoonflower fabric is divine and I love the plate stack with it's sunny yellow, green, and turquoise colors. I also love the faux leaves around the plates - what a great idea and I may just have to borrow that sometime. I adore the butter pats - such a classy detail. ReplyDeleteWhat a darling theme...I love it! I also love the colors. The combination of the Fiestaware with the Pfaltzgraff Naturewood plates is perfectly lovely. The ivy is also a very nice touch. I am going to borrow your idea when I set my next Chicago Cubs tablescape because Wrigley Field has ivy on their outfield brick. Happy summer!
