Cici’s Cherry Pizza
Crumb Topping
½ c. flour
3 T. granulated sugar
1 T. brown sugar
1/8 t. salt
¼ c. butter, softened
Pizza
1 lb. pizza dough
1 20-oz. can cherry pie filling
Glaze
1 c. powdered sugar
½ t. vanilla extract
1½-2 T. milk
Preheat the oven to 450°F. Spray a 12” pizza pan with PAM; set aside.
To make the crumb topping, mix the flour, sugar, brown sugar, and salt. Add the butter and use a pastry blender or fork to combine until the mixture resembles cornmeal.
To make the pizza, spread the dough on the prepared pizza pan and prick with a fork 8 to 10 times. Place in the preheated oven for 5 minutes. Remove from the oven, spread the cherry pie filling over the crust, and sprinkle with the crumb topping. Return to the oven and bake for 20 to 25 minutes.
While the pizza is baking, make the glaze by combining the
powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and 1½ tablespoons of milk. Mix well. When the
crust is golden brown, remove the pizza from the oven and top with the glaze.

I'm going to have to take your word for it ! It sounds really unusual and looks like a pizza. The sweet cherry pie filling on pizza dough? Well - its different. Glad you enjoyed it!
What a great looking dessert! I have only tried cookie dough "fruit pizzas" in the past, so one with a real pizza crust sounds intriguing. The crumb topping and icing drizzle - yum!
I have fond memories of taking my kids to Cici's for their pizza buffet. We did scout meetings, birthday parties, beginning of summer. end of summer...my kids were so full of pizza when their childhoods ended! Along with the cherry pizza they had cinnamon rolls which were so good. After all, pizza dough is very versatile. Enjoy your cherry pizza!
This sounds delish - I think I have had Cici's apple pizza.
Great idea! Looks good too.
Sounds like a good dessert!
