Happy National Soup Day! Boy
is it ever the perfect day to celebrate. We have loads of snow on the ground,
the temperatures are frigid, and I am tucked up in the house in front of the
fire with my favorite cat, my favorite blanket, a tatty, bulky sweater, remote
in hand, binge-watching my favorite British mystery.
If you are as big of a soup fan as I am, then you will want to try one (or all!) of these. I have listed my favorites below (in alphabetical order because I didn’t want to play favorites). Click on the highlighted name beneath the photo to head straight for the recipe.
Celebrate with soup!

Cream of Portobello Mushroom Soup with Sherry

Oh, all of those look so good! I have indeed enjoyed soup lately, but today for some reason I am craving a cheeseburger and won't be able to leave this house until much later in the day...might have to improvise. Stay warm!
Love those soup days. These look so good.
Thank you for that roundup all on one page! Saving to my Pattie bookmark folder. :)
Patti,
Who knew there was a national soup day! I'll have to remember for next year. Meanwhile as much as I love soup (and am eating a cup right now) , it is 78 sunny degrees in South Florida and I'm getting ready for a walk on the beach after lunch. Keep warm and cozy. All of your soups look wonderful.
WOW!!!! These look beautiful. And I think i've made 4-5 of these exact same soups in last few weeks. Your veggie/meat soup looks exactly like mine...mine was my mom's recipe!! Suffering with covid right now but that meatball soup is really calling out to me....must make SOON!!
wow, need to come back for some of these. they all look delicious.
