Thinking of April Tablescape

I'm sure I'm not the only one who is taking great pity on poor April the giraffe.
Honestly, the press really should leave her alone.
For those of you who’ve produced offspring, you know how uncomfortable those last weeks of a pregnancy can be.

Would you want someone gawking at you the way everyone's been gawking at her?

No wonder she hasn't delivered her calf yet. She's probably a nervous wreck!
Because I've been thinking a lot about her, I decided to set a table in her honor.
I didn't realize that I had nearly as many giraffe things as it turned out that I did, so it was fun to put this together.
I've had my giraffe collection of items for quite some time now, many of which are no longer available, but if you like what you see and would like to create your own exotic table, you can get the look here:

Cute post Pattie! As always your table is stunning. I would say that I if I was seated at your table I'd spend more time looking at all the interesting things on your table, but then I've seen your recipes, and I know I'd be stuffing my face too! ;)

What an impressive giraffe collection! I always love it when you set a slightly exotic table, and it is so much fun to see your collections. I haven't been paying a lot of attention to April's story, although I did read about her a little while ago and just assumed that she had already had her baby. Maybe she is reluctant to calve because she knows the attention will become even more intense once the little one arrives!

I LOVE this table. I have set several with similiar themes. I LOVE your wine glasses with the giraffes attached. I should get my dishes out and set a table again like this! I agree about leaving that poor animal alone!!

You managed to set a fabulous table in her honor. Thanks so much for sharing at Di&DI.
