Oh, the Nailed It cookbook looks like so much fun! I don't have Netflix, but I know that Nicole Byer, whom I love, hosts the show. I bet she and the show are hilarious. Finally, I love how you end this post: "Allow your feelings to be soothed by photos of some of the failures." So funny, especially right under that colorful catastrophe of a cake! As one who is baking-challenged, I can relate! :)
